The event, scheduled for November 15–17 at Olympia London, will feature high-profile attendees. New additions include Martin Gilbert, Chair of Revolut, alongside former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former Chancellor Sajid Javid.

The London lineup now incorporates leaders from Zelle, DTCC, Mastercard, Backpack, and Bitwise. This assembly brings together representatives from Westminster, the City, and Washington alongside founders and institutions developing on Solana.

The event's theme, "Token Supercycle," focuses on how stablecoins, tokenized assets, payments, and AI-driven activity are shifting onto the blockchain. It also addresses how governments and institutions plan to engage with these developments.

The inclusion of leaders from Barclays, Y Combinator, Jupiter, Helius, and other entities further diversifies the program.

The presence of a former Prime Minister, a former Chancellor, and the chair of Revolut on the stage directly addresses the UK's considerations regarding capital, talent, and listings.

Lily Liu, President of the Solana Foundation, stated, “The next generation of capital markets will run around the clock, settle in seconds and be open to anyone with an internet connection, and the decisions that determine where those markets are built are being made now.”

She further noted, “Breakpoint brings the UK policymakers and City leaders shaping those decisions together with the founders already issuing tokenized equities, stablecoins and payment networks on Solana. London has a real opportunity to become the place where that future is built.”

The program is structured to examine the Token Supercycle by analyzing current onchain movements and future trajectories. This convergence of policy makers and builders underscores a significant shift in financial infrastructure development.

Why it matters

The inclusion of high-level political and financial figures directly addresses the regulatory and institutional adoption challenges facing DeFi and L2 ecosystems. This gathering signals a critical juncture where policy makers and infrastructure builders are converging to define the future of onchain finance.
